Kin

At summoning circles scattered around the field, you can enter a compact with kin who will fight by your side. Summon and dismiss kin by holding down
to show the Function menu and pressing
. Kin are dismissed when they die and cannot be summoned again until a certain amount of time has passed. Kin slowly recover HP while dismissed or not in combat.
You can enter a compact with a new kin from a new summoning circle even while already in a compact with a kin. However, the compact with the former kin is broken, and if that kin's level was increased, it will lower.
Alliances

Petition another player for an alliance by holding down
to show the Function menu and pressing
. If the petition is accepted, you are allied and have the following effects.
Prevents attacks from hitting allies.
Shares Sword Virtue and Pledge Virtue with allies.
Grants the Fellowship Medal, which allows you to teleport to allies.
You can abandon an alliance at the end of each phase, at the cost of your maximum HP.
Co-Op Battles

Co-op battle requests are sent to nearby players when a battle with a trespasser begins. Accepting the request transports you to engage in battle against the trespasser. Players participating in the battle will not be able to hit each other. If they defeat the trespasser, participants are granted Repulsion Virtue and Powers of Blood.
Once the co-op battle is over, you are returned back to your former location.
Sigils

Sigils establish relationships with other players; you can earn Virtue by completing the unique goals of the Sigils. There are a variety of ways of finding the target of the Sigil, such as using a specific item or sensing their presence when you get close. Determine if a player is a target by locking on to them.
A passive Sigil may appear depending on other players' Sigils.
Map

The map shows your current location, the locations of other players, regional characteristics, and other information. You can also use it to instant-travel to specific locations and place pins.

Powers of Blood

Blood roses sprout from the bloodstains of fallen great foes, and the Powers of Blood they provide grant various powers. A maximum of five Powers of Blood can be manifested, which you can change between.
Weapon Enhancement and Status Affliction
Enhance your main weapon at Alchemy Forges with attributes such as iron affinity and fire affinity. You can cause a status affliction based on the affinity when you attack with a weapon that has an affinity.
Enhancing Bloodsworn Skills
Enhance Bloodsworn Skills by getting blood crystals. Blood crystals can be acquired by defeating Bloodsacs, or may be discovered during exploration.
